Matt Connell is well known in the wine world for the award winning wines he produced at Olssens and Akarua over a ten year period, which came after multiple winemaking stints around the world. Matt has subsequently moved on to create his own brand, creating smart Pinot Noirs and Chardonnay that best illustrate the regionality of Central Otago. Matt also has a burgeoning contract wine making business.
